Kids' Gymnastics Facility Opens in Prospect Lefferts Gardens

Prospect Gymnastics PLG focuses on "serious recreation" for kids.

It’s been four years since Brooklyn native Mina Marsow brought Prospect Gymnastics to the local community of Ditmas Park. This December Mina opened her second location in Prospect Lefferts Gardens: Prospect Gymnastics PLG. During the soft opening Prospect Gymnastics PLG will have drop in classes at 535 Roger Ave. starting Dec. 10. Prospect Gymnastics PLG will offer once-a-week classes, open play, holiday camps, and birthday parties, as well as preschool partnerships for neighborhood schools.

The gymnastics facility is equipped with balance beams for coordination, bars and rings for strength building, and a 10-foot trampoline. The children’s program is for kids ages 16 months to 14 years old.

Prospect Gymnastics PLG is about serious recreation: small classes, customized curriculum, and learning skills happening in a safe and fun setting. The curriculum focuses on movement, flexibility, strength training, and coordination.

To read more about the benefits of enrolling kids in sports activities at a young age, check out Marsow's NYMetroParents article. To figure out when your child can attend a drop-in class or sign up for toddler open play or a holiday camp, visit the Prospect Gymnastics PLG website.
