Pusteblume Language Immersion
Pusteblume admits children from the age of 2, when they become verbal, thus avoiding losing a full year of valuable language exposure. We offer 2 target language programs, German immersion and Spanish immersion. Some of our children participate in both programs on a weekly alternation. Our unique approach makes it easy to switch languages while remaining in the same curriculum unit.
Pusteblume Curriculum
The Pusteblume curriculum is built around inquiry and exploration in the classroom, the school community and the vibrant city that surrounds us. Our licensed, native-speaking faculty teaches language, visual arts, music, movement, literacy, science and mathematical concepts in a fun and warm learning environment that cultivates the growth and development of your child.
Pusteblume After School Programs
In our after school and enrichment programs preschoolers and school-age children have the opportunity to participate in fun, activity based classes in the desired target language. This provides additional support to stay in touch, or get re-connected with German or Spanish when attending an all English language elementary school. Pusteblume After School Programs are open to students from other schools.
Pusteblume Language Immersion Camps (Spring and Summer)
For one week in spring and 8 weeks each summer Pusteblume offers language immersion camps for all. During our summer camp you can choose the weeks you want, however many weeks you need. Your child will be with peers in a language immersion setting which is the best catalyst to build a wonderful language community and make lasting friendships.
