The Museum of Ice Cream Is Opening Another Pop-Up in New York City with Target

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

If you loved the Museum of Ice Cream pop-up that launched in New York during summer 2016, get excited because you’ll love this collaboration with Target that is sure to make kids cool for the summer.

Target is launching a line of kids clothing inspired by the Museum of Ice Cream filled with bright, pastel colors and sweet designs such as gummy bear graphic tees, banana-patterned separates, cotton candy colors, and more, according to a press release.

The line will be released on June 3 under Target’s Art Class brand just in time for summer with clothes for all genders. All of the items cost less than $60.

And just when you thought it couldn’t get any sweeter, Target will also be introducing seven of the Museum of Ice Cream’s ice cream flavors for $4.99 in stores on July 8: Nana Banana, Cherrylicious, Chocolate Crush, Churro Churro, Vanillionaire, Piñata, and Sprinkle Pool.

Finally, the cherry on top for us New Yorkers is that the two will launch another pop-up concept called The Pint Shop. Similar to the original Museum of Ice Cream, this interactive space will allow visitors to explore oversized pint installations, take part in a unique tasting experience, and purchase some of the accessories from the Target collection and Museum of Ice Cream’s ice cream flavors. On Thursdays starting on June 14, there will also be Pint Sessions from 7-8pm, which are workshops and ice cream tastings led by influencers. Themes change every week and will include Dream & Paste to create a vision board, Pitch Your Pint to design an ice cream flavor, Gifs Galore to learn how to make gifs, and DIY For Life to create an ice cream accessory.

The Pint Shop will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 12-9pm beginning on June 6 at 459 W. 14th St. in the Meatpacking District. Admission is free and reservations are not necessary.
