Duck Donuts Shop Opening in Mamaroneck on Jan. 11

Duck Donuts Shop Opening in Mamaroneck on Jan. 11

This shop will be the first Duck Donuts in Westchester and the second Duck Donuts in New York.

A “duck-tastic” Duck Donuts shop will open in Mamaroneck on Saturday, Jan. 11, the first to open in Westchester and only the second to open in New York. While other delectable doughnut shops offer a menu of pre-made treats, Duck Donuts will make each customer’s doughnut to order–and hopes that you’ll make up your own crazy combinations from the “duckzillion” different toppings. Daily Voice reports that toppings range from bacon to coconut, hot fudge, candies, and more.

Duck will also offer an egg and bacon sandwich doughnut and several coffees for customers who don’t feel like getting something too sweet. There’s a viewing stand for kids where they can watch their doughnut selections come to life–and check out all the little ducks on display. The first and 100th customer this weekend will receive a free bag of duck swag!

Doughnuts are $2.25 each; you can get a half dozen for $11.95 and a dozen for $22.50. This weekend’s opening hours are 8am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Regular hours are 9am-3pm Monday through Sunday and 7am-7pm Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 914-825-9722. The shop is located at 805 Mamaroneck Ave.

"I understood the love for the brand after stepping inside [a New Jersey Duck Donuts shop]," says Bonnie Foncello, who grew up in Mamaroneck and owns this Duck Donuts with her husband David. "The Mamaroneck shop has a fun, family-friendly atmosphere that I hope fits right into the community."
