Stuff We Like: Books for Video Gamers


Worried about the "summer slide?" If your child prefers video games over books, summer reading can be an especially hard sell. Studies show it's worth the effort though, since children can lose between 10 and 25 percent of their reading skills over the course of the summer. The good news: Any amount of reading done over the summer can help prevent this "brain drain" -- and it doesn't matter what your child is reading, as long as he's reading. Here, a few books that may encourage even the most avid video-gamers to become rapid page-turners.
