Lil Chameleon Offers a Weekly, Drop-off Summer Experience for 3- to 6-Year-Olds

The camp features half-day and transportation options.

Summer camp is a beneficial activity for both parent and child. Not only do you get a much-needed break, but camps help kids gain independence, social confidence, and learn how to work better with others. Children learn the basic skills of both independent thinking and collaboration while at the same time, camp reinforces a structured daily routine, especially since children typically don't have a tight schedule during summer. Kids continue to understand rules and ultimately learn how to be a more inquisitive person. Campers can forge everlasting friendships and memories, and as they enter their youngest school years, they increase self-sufficiencies.

This summer, Westchester’s award-winning, community-minded space, Lil Chameleon, is introducing a summer camp for kids 3- to 6-years-old. The themed, drop-off camps will run weekly from July 8-August 30, and they aim to guide kids in the many fundamentals of teamwork, problem solving, movement, and creativity. With themed activities like cooking, arts and crafts, science experiments, group projects, open play, stories, music, and games, campers will be in for an enriching and fulfilling experience.

Families have the option of morning or afternoon drop off sessions from 9:30am-12pm or 2:30-5pm. Additionally, the summer camp is limited to 6 kids each session per week so campers have individualized attention and care. Early registration is recommended. Contact Lil Chameleon for transportation options.

Lil Chameleon encourages families to come and visit with their child before camp sessions begin. Join for a scheduled activity or simply enjoy the play café and familiarize yourself with our space and staff to feel comfortable and excited for a great summer drop-off experience.
